Ferry Landing at Black's Ferry on Eleven Point River
In the background in shadow is the ferry landing. The landing goes into a private yard, but the cut of landing is well preserved. " . . . another beautiful, pellucid (sic) stream." Crossed in an "awkward flat boat conducted by a girl about sixteen. The landing was an exceedingly bad one and in making it we barely escaped ruining both horse and carriage." Featherstonhaugh
